Cascades Trail (4miles round trip with 700 ft elevation gain/loss) at Pambroke, near Blacksburg, VA.

Water was plenty in the stream after 2 weeks rain which caused many tornadoes in the region.

Even trail itself got lost in too much rain water.

Scenery at the trail was extraordinary for hikers like us from desert country; green, sound of streams,

& many tier falls...

Several couples of local Mennonites  with children accompanied us in the same trail.

"Wowl!"  That was all we could say when we encountered majestic "the Cascade Falls" finally.
